Woman arrested for assaulting security officers at Hollywood Casino

JOLIET, IL Aug 9 2017 - It was an unlucky night for one Hollywood Casino customer. Joliet police officers responded to the casino on Sunday after a 51-year-old customer became out of control and created a spectacle in front of other patrons, police said.
Bolingbrook resident Angela Miller of the 200 block of Charlestown, was cited by police on the misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct, police logs show.
Police said the incident occurred around 9 p.m. The casino is located off U.S. 6 at 777 Hollywood Blvd.
According to police, Hollywood's security staff noticed Miller was intoxicated, stumbling around and making a scene, which was disturbing other customers.
After the casino's security staff approached the Bolingbrook woman, Miller became belligerent and she struck the security officers, police said.
Miller ultimately complained that she was hurt during the incident. She was taken to Presence Saint Joseph's Medical Center in Joliet to be evaluated.
Police said that Miller did not require hospitalization. She is now scheduled to appear at the Will County Courthouse on Sept. 5.
