Seattle WA March 17 2017 Police arrested a 25-year-old man early Monday morning after an unconscious woman appeared to be sexually assaulted on the street near CenturyLink Field.
The security guard for the Silver Cloud Hotel called 911 about 3:40 a.m. He told police that while performing routine security checks, he saw two men dragging an intoxicated woman through a parking lot toward a food truck canopy.
Police reports say the security guard found it suspicious, but finished his rounds and returned minutes later to find the 25-year-old with his hands down the victim's unzipped pants and her shirt askew.
The guard reportedly questioned the man and called 911, prompting the second man with the woman to run from the scene. The 25-year-old pulled up the victim's pants and tried to redress her, according to the incident report.
Officers arrived to find the woman "completely unconscious" and unable to respond. Cops called the Seattle Fire Department.
The 25-year-old man remained next to the woman, yelling at the security guard for calling police and not helping him. He allegedly claimed he knew the woman and they were out drinking that night.
Later, the woman attempted to say a few words, but they were incomprehensible. She could not sit up or open her eyes for more than seconds.
Police arrested the 25-year-old man for investigation of indecent liberties. Crews took the woman to Harborview Medical Center.
