Lubbock man crashes car during police chase after shoplifting from Target

LUBBOCK, TX Jan 6 2017
A police chase that started with a shoplifting call at Target ended at the Pollard Pre-Owned lot on Monday afternoon.
29-year-old Cory Arthur Duncan is now in custody, charged with theft, evading arrest, leaving the scene of an accident, and a variety of other charges after running from police.
Lubbock police got the call about shoplifting at Target at 6064 Marsha Sharp at 4:07 p.m.
Police followed the vehicle, but the suspect refused to stop, got into a wreck at 50th and Frankford and ran from the scene on foot.
He ran through the Pollard Pre-Owned lot just off 50th and Frankford and tried to run up the ramp to the loop, but gave up and was taken into custody.
