Kennesaw GA Jan 31 2017 Two Atlanta women were arrested and accused of a shoplifting spree in Kennesaw, according to county police reports.
Kiesha Monique Mulkey and Cynthia Wallace are charged with taking over $1,500 worth of goods from stores in and around Town Center Mall Jan. 9, according to their arrest warrants.
The heist included four pieces of ladies clothing from Dick’s Sporting Goods totaling $230.01, 17 items from Victoria’s Secret worth $805.92, 26 body care items from Bath and Body Works worth $385.70 and eight clothing items from Crazy8 worth $92.93, the warrants state.
The women reportedly used scissors and wire cutters to remove the alarm sensor tags from the items stolen from Dick’s, the warrants state. They allegedly used a large plastic bag lined with tin foil to attempt to throw off the security scanners at the other stores.
Both women were arrested Jan. 9 and accused of multiple counts of shoplifting and possession of tools for the commission of a crime, according to jail records.
Wallace was released on $10,000 bond on Jan. 10 while Mulkey remains at the Cobb County Jail, according to jail records.
