St Cloud MN Dec 26 2016 Heartland Security of Melrose has acquired Tri Comm Security Services, which has served the St. Cloud area for more than 20 years.
Heartland Security is unique to the alarm industry. The company was created in 1999 by nine local electric cooperatives. Among them were Glencoe-based McLeod Cooperative Power Association and Litchfield-based Meeker Cooperative Light and Power Association.
“Tri Comm Security Services has built a great reputation for servicing their customers and like Heartland Security, selling a variety of security systems including residential, large and small commercial, video surveillance, and access control,” said Guy Adams, Heartland Security’s general manager.
Heartland Security has hired local technicians to assist in its growth and customer service expectations in the St. Cloud area.
Heartland Security is now owned by 14 electric cooperatives and has grown to almost 8,000 customers. A smart security system from Heartland Security lets customers view their cameras and control their lights, locks, garage door and thermostat all from one app on a smart phone.
