Charlotte nightclub security guard charged with murder

CHARLOTTE, NC December 4 2016
A deadly shooting at a Charlotte nightclub has left one man dead, a nightclub security guard charged with murder and the nightclub with a suspended liquor license.
Gregory Spearman, 34, was shot at Club Lust on 100 block of Atando Avenue just before 3:30 a.m, according to police.
He was taken to the Carolinas Medical Center where he later died.
Homicide detectives were able to develop information that led them to charge the club’s security guard with murder saying that there was a confrontation and the guard just shot Spearman.
Wade Adam Mosley, 27, has been arrested in connection with the homicide. Mosley appeared in court on Monday where the judge set Mosley's bond at $1 million.
Mosley is scheduled to appear in court again on December 7.
Information and evidence gathered during the investigation led detectives to identify Mosley as a suspect.  Warrants for his arrest were obtained and the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team was requested to assist in locating him. On Sunday, the VCAT located and arrested Mosley without incident.
The ABC Commission has also suspended alcohol permits to Club Lust and a hearing is scheduled.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 704-432-TIPS or Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
