LEMOORE CA Nov 9 2016 — A woman was arrested on numerous drug charges after she was kicked out of the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino for trespassing, the Kings County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies were called to the casino, located in the 17200 block of Jersey Avenue, around 8:15 p.m. after Tinamarie Sanchez, 33, was detained for trespassing. The sheriff’s office said casino security and the Tachi Yokut Tribe had previously banned Sanchez from the facility.
Sanchez was allegedly found in possession of a methamphetamine pipe and transported to the Kings County Jail. The sheriff’s office said Sanchez later admitted to having a plastic bag of methamphetamine in her mouth. After Sanchez was booked in the jail, the sheriff’s office said, deputies found additional methamphetamine on her as well as a small can of pepper spray hidden in a pocket.
Sanchez was booked into the jail on suspicion of bringing a controlled substance into a jail, bringing a weapon into the jail, being ejected from a gambling establishment, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $65,000.
