Bowling Green OH Nov 6 2016 Toledo woman was arrested Wednesday on a burglary charge after a shoplifting incident at the Bowling Green Meijer store.
According to a Bowling Green Police report, just before 9 p.m. officers responded to the store, 2111 E. Wooster St., on the report of a female who was shoplifting.
A loss prevention employee told police she had observed a woman, later identified as Lori Trinko, 33, Toledo, concealing clothes in a duffel bag, and then walking out of the building.
The employee said she advised Trinko to stop, but she continued on and approached a car in the lot which drove off without her.
Upon the arrival of police, Trinko reportedly “threw the duffel bag on the ground and immediately stated that she did it, that she stole from Meijer “to pay for drugs,” according to the report.
It was subsequently learned that Trinko had been charged for theft at the Sylvania Meijer location in September, and informed that she was not allowed on any Meijer property, or else she would be charged with trespass.
As a result, Trinko was charged with one count of burglary–trespass in an occupied structure and taken to jail.

The items stolen by Trinko amounted to just over $189.
