MARTINDALE, Texas Nov 1 2016— Investigators say the body of a Texas State University student has been found under a shuttle bus at an off-campus site where a party was held earlier.
The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office on Monday identified the victim as 20-year-old Jordin Taylor of Burleson. Her body was discovered Saturday beneath the bus at a music and tubing site near Martindale.
Sheriff Arnold Zwicke says the bus developed mechanical problems Friday night. Crews that went back to fix the vehicle located Taylor’s body.
A cause of death wasn’t immediately released. The sheriff says the investigation into the death continues.

TSU spokesman Matt Flores says Taylor was a freshman majoring in respiratory care. She belonged to the Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
