St Louis bank robber shoots at security officer

ST. LOUIS MO Nov 10 2016 - Police are looking for a man they said shot at a security officer before robbing a Midwest Bank location in St. Louis Tuesday.
St. Louis Metropolitan Police said the man entered the bank on the 3200 block of Meramec Street at around 10:15 Tuesday morning. The man got into a scuffle with the security guard before he fired a shot at him, but missed.
The security officer fled while the man walked up to the counter and demanded money. Multiple tellers handed over some cash, and the man ran out the back door as two sheriffs responded in to the front door.
He fled the scene in a white Jeep Commander SUV.

Police said he is about 5-foot-6, and was wearing a dark jacket, black shorts and tan Timberland boots. Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS(8477).
