Special Police Officer Robbed of Gun privateofficer.com


WASHINGTON DC Oct 28 2016 A Special Police Officer was robbed of his firearm while working at a library in Northeast, D.C. Thursday night.
The robbery happened in the 3900 block of Benning Road in Northeast, D.C. at the Dorothy Height Library, Metropolitan Police said.
Around 9:15 p.m., the suspect walked up to the officer and displayed a handgun. He then stole some of the officer’s police equipment, including his weapon. It is believed that the officer was closing down the library at the time of the robbery.
The Special Police Officer was not hurt in the incident.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’1” and about 25 to 30 years old. He was dressed in a grey hoodie and blue jeans. He is armed with two handguns.
