Florida security guard sold Fentanyl and crack cocaine to undercover officer

STUART FL July 26 2017
A Boynton Beach woman who works as a security guard in West Palm Beach sold $200 worth of Fentanyl and crack cocaine to a confidential informant of the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, according to a police report.
Ashely Clarke, 27, sold the informant the drugs July 14 at the McDonald’s on Kanner Highway just east of Interstate 95, investigators said. She faces charges of possession and sale of the drugs. Online records did not indicate that Clarke was in custody Tuesday morning. According to the arrest report, her bond was set at $85,000 prior to release.
According to the arrest report, the informant drove a black four-door Jaguar to the McDonald’s near Lost River Road to complete the transaction, in which Clarke sold a white, rock-like substance and clear capsules with a white powder substance.
According to the report, the white, rock-like substance tested positive for cocaine and the clear capsules tested positive for Fentanyl, a highly addictive opioid prescribed for extreme pain. Deputies also found a bag of a green, leafy substance that tested positive for the presence of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana, which the other woman said belonged to her.
Prior conversations between Clarke and the informant revealed that Clarke mentioned the Fentanyl “can kill you,” and that “people will die or keep coming back for more.”

According to a Martin County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, Clarke works as a security guard in West Palm Beach, but does not specify where.
