Security officer files lawsuit after being hit by truck

SAN FRANCISCO CA May 26 2017 – A security guard alleges he was injured when he was struck by a truck.
Barry Mimms filed a complaint on April 17 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against Huetamo Trucking, Gilberto Estrada, Gabino Bernal Morales and Does 1 through 20 alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was working as a security guard at the San Francisco Produce Market. HE alleges he was struck by a 2001 Peterbuilt 379 truck owned by the defendants and driven by Morales on April 20, 2015, and as a result sustained serious personal injuries.
The plaintiff seeks economic and noneconomic damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by Robert J. Waldsmith, Jeffrey R. Smith and Blair K. Walsh of Abramson Smith Waldsmith LLP in San Francisco.
