Two Salisbury women who had already been banned from Walmart are facing new charges of trying to steal more than $600 worth of items.
According to the police report, Tesla Reann Russell, 23, and Anita Karen Asher, 55, went into the store on Monday carrying a large tote bag that contained Walmart shopping bags.
The two stole "higher end" cosmetics from the cosmetics counter, according to police, and also grabbed clothing, food, and various housewares.
The total value of everything that the two attempted to take was $610.74.
Asher was apprehended as she tried to leave the store.  Russell was already outside, standing next to a scooter, according to police.
The stolen items were returned to the store.  One hydrocodone pill was found inside the bag.

Russell was cited for misdemeanor larceny, trespassing, and drug possession.  Asher was charged with misdemeanor larceny and trespassing.
