Man walks into Kansas police station smelling like weed-gets arrested privateofficer.com

LARNED, Kan. April 6 2017
So, a man walks into a sheriff's office with weed in his pocket... It sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, but deputies in Pawnee County arrested such a man on Tuesday.
The sheriff's office, located in Larned, said in a Facebook post that someone went there for assistance with a vehicle title. An officer could smell marijuana coming from the lobby.
"The officer asked the subject if he had any marijuana on him. Of course, the individual said no. The officer asked him if he'd been around anyone recently that was smoking marijuana. The subject stated 'possibly.'"
The officer told the man he smelled marijuana and needed to search him. The man cooperated and consented to the search, during which marijuana was found in the man's pants pocket.
The unnamed suspect was booked for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
