Harrisburg Mall security assaulted by disorderly person

SWATARA TOWNSHIP, Pa. —April 10 2017
Swatara Township Police were called to the Harrisburg Mall at 11:18 a.m Saturday, for a report of an assault on several mall guards.
Upon arrival, officers were advised that mall security was attempting to detain a disorderly male, when that male punched a guard in the face.
Investigators say the man fled towards the parking lot after the assault and two additional guards caught up to the suspect at his car.
That's when police say a female intervened, and used pepper spray in the face of the guards who were attempting to handcuff the male suspect.
According to police, both suspects were able to flee the area.
Police describe the man as being a light skinned black male, about 5 feet 2 inches tall, in his mid twenties, with short black hair, wearing dark jeans, a black jacket and white sneakers.
Police describe the woman as being a dark skinned black female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 200 lbs, with short black hair.
According to investigators, both suspects fled in an older model silver colored SUV.
Police say one guard suffered injuries from the punch and was treated at a local hospital while the other two guards were treated for the pepper spray exposure.
