Woman arrested for murder at a motel in Mobile Alabama privateofficer.com

Mobile AL March 21 2017 The Mobile Police Department took a 24-year-old woman into custody on Monday morning in connection with a murder at a motel in Mobile.
MPD spokeswoman Charlette Solis confirmed the arrest of Coaty Arlene Bankston, 24, from Irvington, as the suspect in a murder at the Extend A Suites located at 5450 Coca-Coca Road. 
Police said the incident occurred at 8:13 p.m. on Sunday (March 19) night. There was reportedly an argument at a room on the sceond floor of the hotel before gunshots rang out.
Police said the victim is a 36-year-old man and his name has not been released at this time.
Mobile County jail records show that Bankston has served several short jail sentences between 2014 and 2016 for smaller offenses.
The offenses included speeding, third-degree theft of property, fourth-degree theft of property, third-degree criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct.
Bankston has a bond hearing scheduled in the courtroom of Mobile District Court Judge Joe Basenburg for 8:30 a.m. on March 22.
