Memphis security officer disarmed during Waffle House robbery privateofficer.com

MEMPHIS, Tenn. March 21 2017- A security officer was thrown to the ground and held at gunpoint at a Waffle House early Monday morning.
It happened at 4 a.m. in the 4200 block of American Way.
Memphis police said the security guard was pushed to the ground by a suspect wearing a cover over his face. That security officer, a 57-year-old woman, was working alone overnight.
“A female getting jumped like that is totally wrong. If there are any men around, they should be apprehensive to resolve that issue,” said one customer who didn't want to be identified.
The security guard told police that the suspect took her gun from her holster and pointed it at witnesses, demanding money.
He left before he was able to get any cash.
Police said the suspect left in a grey sedan but there isn't much more of a description of that man.

No one is in custody, according to Memphis police.
