Catoosa OK March 10 2017 Catoosa Police Department officials arrested a 22-year-old robbery suspect Monday night at the Cherokee Nation Hard Rock Hotel & Casino after viewing the incident on video surveillance.
Kelin Darae Marshall, of Tulsa, was detained by casino security and taken into custody after CPD Master Patrol Officer Jennifer Swarer watched Marshall on the video reach into a person's pocket, knocking the wallet out then picking it up, according to a CPD affidavit.
When the alleged victim tried to get up from the gaming chair, Marshall reportedly “pushed him to the ground and ran out the doors.”
After he was captured by authorities Marshall allegedly gave a fake name, but officials later discovered his identity at the Amos G. Ward Detention Facility when a social security card was located on him. Officials verified Marshall’s identity with Department of Correction records.
Marshall was charged with strong-arm robbery and false impersonation. His bond amount has yet to be determined.
