On Duty Security Officer Killed in Vehicle Crash privateofficer.com



Lawrence County AL Feb 21 2017 A Lawrence County security officer died Saturday afternoon in an accident near the Carpenter Technology Corporation in Tanner.
Authorities have been him identified as 55-year-old Robin W. Kimbrough, of Mount Hope, according to Limestone County coroner Mike West. Kimbrough was a security officer at Carpenter.
Workers went searching for Kimbrough around 3 p.m. Saturday after not hearing from him for some time.
He was found unresponsive shortly after 3 p.m. with the Bobcat UTV he was driving.
Police say that it had flipped on top of him.
According to West, it appears Kimbrough got stuck and the Bobcats somehow overturned, trapping him underneath.

Decatur Fire Department responded to the incident and was able to remove the UTV from on top of him. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
