Riverside CA Feb 24 2017 A security guard at Sevilla Nightclub in Riverside was assaulted while trying to break up a fight early Wednesday, Feb. 22, leading to three arrests, police say.
Police were called out to the club in the 3200 block of Mission Inn Avenue about 12:30 a.m. to respond to a fight, according to a Riverside Police Department news release. Officers learned that a guard had been knocked to the ground and kicked, the release said.
Giovanni McCullogh, 21, of Moreno Valley; Kevin Deandre McWilliams, 29, of Las Vegas; and Steven Singhal, 36, of Huntington Beach were arrested and booked into jail on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon; McCullogh was also suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, jail records show.
Bail for all three was set at $25,000. By Wednesday afternoon, McWilliams and Singhal had posted bond and been released, but McCullogh remained in custody, jail records show.

Last fall, Sevilla boosted its security staff after a spate of violent crimes - two robberies, two shootings and a brawl - in and around the nightclub in September.
