Shoplifter runs down Plainville police officer privateofficer.com

PLAINVILLE, MA Jan 17 2017 A fleeing shoplifting ran over an officer with his car in Plainville Massachusetts as he tried to escape according to police.
Security at the Target store had reported a shoplifting in progress on Sunday at around 10 a. m. and officers were dispatched to assist the Asset Protection agent.
When officers arrived, the suspect got into his vehicle and hit the officer who was pursuing him.
Officer Todd Holbrook was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his lower body and is expected to make a full recovery.

The suspect was identified by police as 38-year-old Robert M. Camara Jr. of Attleboro, was brought into police headquarters late Sunday night, only about 12 hours after the incident began.
