LOWER MAKEFIELD PA Dec 30 2016 — A man used a sledgehammer to break the front doors at Kohl's department store early Wednesday morning and smashed into jewelry counters making off with a lot of loot..
The man entered the store at 1614 Big Oak Road about 3:17 a.m. with a sledgehammer and a canvas tool sack according to police Chief Ken Coluzzi.
He took a black diamond collection, Citizen Eco watches and other items, Coluzzi said.
The total haul exceeds $100,000 said the police
Police said the suspect is a white male who was wearing a cloth mask, dark-colored hoodie jacket with white draw strings and gray sneakers with an orange Nike swoosh emblem.
Police are asking for the public's help to identify the suspect or to provide information related to the crime.
