Pittsburgh security deploys Taser against man armed with gun privateofficer.com



PITTSBURGH PA Dec 27 2016 They say that you don’t bring a knife to a gunfight but a Pennsylvania had no choice but go up against a man armed with a gun with a Taser.
 A press release from Pittsburgh Police states that it happened just before 1 a.m. Monday and now a man is under arrest facing a long list of charges.
Officers were called to the Galaxy nightclub on Kelly Street for a report of shots fired.
The shooter, identified as Anthony Lamar Williams, 27, was confronted by a security officer for causing problems at the club.
During the confrontation the man later identified as Williams pulled a handgun and the security officer deployed a Taser causing him to drop a silver pistol before running away.
Police caught up with the suspect, who struggled and attempted to flee but police Tased Williams once more and took him into custody.
He now faces charges of receiving stolen property, firearms not to be carried without a license, resisting arrest, reckless endangerment, person restricted to have a firearm, criminal mischief, and aggravated assault.
Williams was transported to UPMC Presbyterian and then transported to the Alllegheny County Jail.

Initially, it was believed that no one was injured. However, during the course of the investigation, a 23-year-old victim showed up at UPMC Presbyterian with a gunshot wound. He is expected to recover.
