BURLINGTON, Iowa Dec 4 2016– Burlington Police are searching for a subject who was arrested on Thursday and managed to escape after appearing in court.
Antoine Lamont Tellis had previously bonded out his charges when he appeared in court on Friday, Dec. 2. However, the Associate Court Judge had increased Tellis’s bond, so police began to take Tellis back into custody. According to the Burlington Police Department Facebook page, Tellis is subject to be arrested again on increased bond of $50,000 cash only on each charge for a total bond of $200,000 cash only bond.
Police say Tellis has been found in possession of firearms in the past and should be considered armed and dangerous along with being a flight risk. Do not attempt to apprehend or approach him yourself but you should dial 911 or contact your local law enforcement agency and report his location.

If anyone has information to his whereabouts or where he is located please call the Burlington Police Department at (319) 753-8366 or CrimeStoppers at (319) 753-6835.
