RIALTO CA Nov 9 2016 One of congressional candidate Paul Chabot’s supporters was arrested after a confrontation with security guards Sunday morning in the parking lot of the Sunrise Church.
Jeffrey White, 59, founder of Survivors of the Abortion Holocaust, was at the church at 2759 Ayala Dr. allegedly placing literature consisting of anti-abortion messages in support of the Paul Chabot for Congress campaign on the windows of the parked vehicles of worshipers, police said in a written statement.
White was at the church in an official capacity representing Chabot’s campaign run for Congress in Tuesday’s election, police added.
Two security officers, who happen to be members of the church, were informed of what White was allegedly doing in the parking lot.
The two confronted White asking him to leave the property when he became confrontational and punched them both in the face, the statement continued to read.
The two forced White to the ground until uniformed Rialto Police officers could arrive.
White was arrested for an outstanding warrant in San Bernardino County for similar circumstances.
The investigation will be forwarded to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s office for review. Police are asking for charges to be filed against White for trespassing as well as assault and battery.
Jail records show White was released later Sunday night.

Chabot is making his second bid to defeat Rep. Pete Aguilar, D-San Bernardino, in the 31st Congressional District in this year’s election.
