Louisville man charged with attempting to rob armored truck privateofficer.com

LOUISVILLE, Ky. Nov 23 2016
An attempted robbery of an armored truck in Louisville KY ended in a struggle and an arrest according to police.
Police say that Roysten Beaudoin, 35, was arrested on Friday at the Rite Aid Pharmacy, located at 4000 Taylorsville Road, near Hikes Lane and Browns Lane after he approached an armored car that was making a delivery at the business.
Police say Beaudoin stated he was armed and demanded money from the security guard. Authorities say that when the guard refused, Beaudoin then tried to get inside the armored car.
Beaudoin was quickly arrested by officers that responded to the scene.
He has been charged with charged with second-degree robbery.

He is being held at Louisville Metro Corrections on a $25,000 bond. He is expected to appear in court on November 29.
