Bouncer charged firing gun during dispute privateofficer.com

Police have arrested one man for allegedly stabbing another man at Pockets Bar last week. The bar's bouncer was also charged for firing  a gun into the air during the fight.
According to investigators, a fight broke out between two groups of friends at the Pocket's Bar around 1:30 a.m. on the morning of November 2nd. The fight escalated inside the bar and was broken up by bouncers.
As both groups were being escorted out of the bar, the fight broke out again and the 24-year-old victim was pulled outside where he was allegedly stabbed repeatedly by 23-year-old Brandon Rodriguez.
The victim and Rodriguez were both taken to area hospitals for treatment of injuries sustained in the fight. Rodriguez was released on November 5 and was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.

A warrant was also issued for the bar's bouncer, 24-year-old Jimmy Martinez after he allegedly fired a gun into the air in an attempt to break up the fight. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Center on a Discharge of a Firearm in Certain Municipalities warrant. His bonds totaled $1,000.
