UPPER MARLBORO, Md. Oct 21 2016— A school bus aide in Prince George's County has been indicted on multiple counts of child abuse, assault and sex offenses after molesting two special needs children last November.
Police say in November 2015, Michael Patopie inappropriately touched two different children. One of these incidents was caught on video.
Charging documents reviewed by ABC7 say the video shows Patopie interacting with students. The documents say the video shows the aide sitting next to a 4-year-old and a 5-year-old while making suspicious movements with his hands. Additionally, the documents also state that one of the victims told his mother a man on the bus touched him inappropriately. The documents further state a relative of one of the victims observed the child’s pants undone after leaving the bus multiple times.
Patopie is in custody on a no bond status.
