TOPPENISH, Wash.-Oct 24 2016 If you're looking for something fun to-do, Curfman's Massive Corn Maze is now open and admission Sunday night goes back to a good cause.
Curfman's has partnered with the Partida family to help honor Fidel Partida Jr., a security guard in the Sunnyside school district, who recently lost his battle to cancer.
One dollar from every admission tonight will be donated to a youth scholarship fund under his name.
Partida spent his life helping kids in the district, often reaching out to those in gangs or poor family situations.
His family now wants to pick up where he left off, naming the effort- Partida Strong.
"I know he's here, I know he is, I can feel him and I ... He's just glad that we're trying our hardest to continue his legacy and continue to help the youth,” said Shianne Partida, daughter to Fidel Partida.
Partida Strong Night will be open till 9 pm Sunday night at Curfman's with a wide-variety of activities for the whole family.
