Las Vegas police searching for armored truck robber #PrivateOfficerNews

Las Vegas NV March 11 2016 Metro Police are searching for the person who robbed an armored car Wednesday.
It happened around 11:17 a.m. at a Wells Fargo in the 1700 block of N. Decatur Boulevard.  According to Metro, the suspect robbed the Brinks armored car right in the bank parking lot.
Detectives said when the security guard came outside to get back into the armored car, he was approached by a black male with a gun.  The suspect demanded money, before fleeing on foot with the bags.
No one was hurt.
The male was last seen running into an apartment complex just west of the bank.  K9 officers, along with Metro's helicopter searched for the suspect.
The FBI is helping Metro Police with the investigation.
No other details were released.
