Cincinatti OH Dec 28 2010 A Kennedy Heights man was arraigned Sunday in Hamilton County Municipal Court on charges in connection with hitting a Tri-County Mall security officer with a vehicle on Christmas Eve.
Judge Heather Russell set bond at $20,000 on a robbery charge, $1,000 on a charge of failure to comply with a police officer, $1,000 on a charge of receiving stolen property and $1,000 for reckless operation of a motor vehicle.
Aiman Khayo, 47, struck the security officer with the vehicle he was driving and drove off, police said. The security officer’s name, and the extent of his injuries, were not available Sunday.
Police set up stop sticks and the vehicle was halted on Chester Road just north of Sharon Road.
A stolen coat from Macy’s and a stolen Blu-Ray player from Sears were found in the car’s trunk, according to police.
