Howard County MD Dec 28 2010 County police are investigating the Monday afternoon armed robbery of an armored truck employee.
Officials said a man armed with a gun approached a Dunbar Armored truck carrier about 12:40 p.m. in Dorsey's Search Village Center in Ellicott City. The carrier had just picked up a deposit from a Giant grocery story.
Neither the carrier nor a second employee in the truck were injured.
The suspect fled in a Nissan Sentra; it was later recovered in a nearby residential area.
