CLEVELAND OH Aug 13 2010 Police in Cleveland say the top cop for the city's school system was robbed at gunpoint in his car while stopped at a red light.
Police say Cleveland schools Security Chief Lester Fultz was held up late Tuesday night by a man who jumped into his back seat, pointed a gun at Fultz and told him to give up his car.
According to the police report, Fultz responded that "it's just a car" and did not budge. Police say Fultz did comply with a demand that he hand over his wallet, and the man fled.
It happened at an intersection near Collinwood High School on Cleveland's east side.
Police have not announced an arrest.
The 51-year-old Fultz was not hurt. The former Cleveland deputy police chief has led the school district's safety efforts since January 2008.
