ALLEGANY NY — Two Buffalo teens have been arrested in the theft of items from a high school locker room during a recent weekend basketball tournament.
The males, ages 18 and 16, were not identified because of their ages. They were arrested by Cattaraugus County sheriff’s deputies and St. Bonaventure University Security and charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. The 18-year-old also was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Officers said the two had stolen items in their possession, including cell phones, cash and a purse stolen from the Allegany-Limestone School locker room during a basketball tournament.

CLEVELAND OH. Two masked, armed men tried to rob a check-cashing store on East 55th Street about 9 a.m. They were standing in the lobby when an armored truck pulled up and scared them off.
The armored-truck guard called police and said the men, wearing skeleton masks and carrying handguns, ran east and got into a tan Buick. Several men were waiting in the car. Police were not able to find it.
Mrtyle Beach SC A security guard at NASCAR SpeedPark told police someone tried to steal money from two massage chairs at the park, according to a police report.
Police were called just after midnight Wednesday to the park at 1820 21st Ave. N., after the guard found the padlocks on the money boxes of two massage chairs had been cut, police said.
The guard told police he was unsure whether money had been stolen because the park is closed for the season, the report showed.

A criminal felony charge was filed Monday against a Norman man, after security officers said he stole several I-Pods from his place of employment.David Nathaniel Morgan, 18, was charged with embezzlement.Police were contacted by a store security officer at the department store after a security camera showed the employee taking two I-Pods Nov. 29 and again Dec. 7.

A stolen vehicle helped lead Omaha police to a shoplifting suspect who tried to harm store security guards.Police on Sunday located a stolen car near 38th and Farnam Streets, said Officer Jacob Bettin. Investigators later determined that the car matched the description of a vehicle used in several shoplifting incidents.In one, the suspect pulled out a box cutter and threatened a Target security guard when she tried to stop him, Bettin said. In another incident, the suspect used the stolen car in an attempt to run over a Sear’s security guard.Detectives found the suspect near 16th and Farnam Streets. The 41-year-old Omaha man was arrested on suspicion of attempted felony assault, terroristic threats, use of a weapon, shoplifting attempt and felony shoplifting.
